National Margarita Day is celebrated each year on February 22. At Four Seasons Hotel Moscow, the festivities continue all week long — from February 23 to March 1. Vadim Panenkov, Head Bartender of Moskovsky Bar, presented three original tequila-based interpretations of the legendary cocktail to Margarita Zamuraeva, Editor-in-Chief of Afisha Restaurants. Together, they created a fourth mix infused with the spirit of Italy.
The special menu will be available throughout the week. And for all guests named Margarita, there’s an extra reason to stop by: enjoy a complimentary cocktail of your choice from the collection. After all, it’s not every day a drink shares your name.
Each cocktail plays with tequila, revealing its character and temperament in a unique way. Margarita Hemingway opens the collection — a nod to the drink created for the legendary writer in Havana. Less sugar, grapefruit for depth, and Maraschino liqueur for a perfectly balanced acidity.
For a lingering spicy finish, discover Margarita Spicy — a bold twist for those who love heat in their cocktails. Cognac-based Grand Marnier pairs with jalapeño-infused tequila, while a four-pepper salt rim adds complexity and a striking edge.
Margarita Royal is the premium expression, crafted with Reposado tequila aged for one year and eight months. Combined with Grand Marnier, it unveils the richest and most vibrant interpretation of the Margarita. A non-alcoholic Margarita Virgin is also available.
The most personal creation is Margarita Italiano, inspired by Margarita Zamuraeva’s recent travels through Italy. Designed in the style of a Caprese, it features sun-dried tomato–infused tequila, basil cordial, and a few drops of olive oil. The interplay of flavors captures the lighthearted mood of the Mediterranean.
On February 25 at 8:00 PM, Moskovsky Bar welcomes Margarita lovers for Margarita Night — an evening to explore the collection, meet the creators Margarita Zamuraeva and Vadim Panenkov, and share impressions in great company. A DJ set will set the tone for the night.
Admission is free; we recommend reserving a table in advance by phone at +7 499 277-71-00 or via Four Seasons Chat.
