From September 22 to 28, the world raises a glass to a legendary cocktail of the past hundred years – the Negroni. Moskovsky Bar is joining the celebration with a full week of tastings, unveiling a collection of seven unique Negroni twists by head bartender Vadim Panenkov in collaboration with Russia’s foremost Negroni aficionado, Mikhail Shenshtein.
Each drink has its own story. The Negroni Italiano, built on truffle gin and olive oil, seems to earn the reputation of a connoisseur’s choice. Rose Sbagliato, with rosé vermouth, rosé prosecco, Campari and rose water, has been dubbed the most feminine of the lineup. Negroni De Los Muertos carries a smoky mezcal punch and a daringly macho spirit, while for those who prefer to skip the alcohol, there’s a playful and feather-light version on non-alcoholic gin, vermouth and amaro.
The crown jewel of the collection is the Aged Negroni – a masterpiece for those who think they’ve seen it all. With two types of gin, time in an oak barrel and a final wisp of smoke, it reveals a depth and kaleidoscope of flavors that turn tasting into an experience.
Each day of the week is a new reason to drop by and discover another Negroni. The week is long, so come back again and again — there’ll be something new in your glass every time.
And on September 25, the bar will host a special Negroni Night with live jazz. At the center of the celebration, both at the counter and at the DJ booth, will be Mikhail Shenshtein himself – the man who knows the Negroni better than anyone else. Entry is free, but we strongly recommend booking your table in advance by calling +7 499 277-71-00 or through Four Seasons Chat.
