First on stage is Casanova, the symbol of Venetian seduction, reflected in the delicate balance of sweet and tangy in scallop crudo with raisins and pine nuts (Capesante in Saor) — a promise to whet your appetite for the night ahead. Next, Briella, the cunning and calculating servant, comes alive in tender beef carpaccio with rich pâté, marinated onions, and airy Parmesan espuma (Carpaccio di Manzo alla Veneziana), playing with contrasts just like the character himself. Arlecchino brings color and crunch with his lively seafood dish (Fritto Misto), a feast for both the eyes and taste buds.
For the intellectual Balanzone, concentration is key: lasagna with eel and prawns in citrus sauce (Gioco di Lasagna) layers flavors, textures, and complexity in a delicious puzzle. Then, as in an immersive performance, the choice is yours: the reserved Rosaura (Branzino alla Vicentina con Carciofi) or commanding Pantalone (Filetto di Manzo Marco Polo) — harmonious seabass with artichokes and polenta, or a mature tenderloin steak with parsnip and a rose. Dessert belongs to pastry chef Igor Melnikov, inspired by the playful spirit of Colombina (Il cuore di Colombina).
